Why now

Other apps are diaries. Lily is preparation.

— The thought behind Lily
01 The thought behind Lily

Built by a woman who needed it.

Lily started where most good tools start — with a problem the founder couldn't solve any other way.

A UK compliance professional, navigating perimenopause in real time, was tired of leaving GP appointments feeling unheard. Eighteen months of hot flashes, brain fog and disturbed sleep that she couldn't keep straight in her own head. Ten minutes in the consulting room. A vague "come back if it gets worse."

One night, she did something different. She spent thirty minutes turning four weeks of messy notes into a one-page summary. Dates. Frequency. Severity. Patterns she hadn't spotted herself. The next appointment was completely different.

Lily is that prep work — done once, used every time you need it.

02 How Lily works

Three small moments that change everything.

Lily isn't an app you live in. It's a quiet companion you reach for when you need clarity, then put down again.

i.

Log in 90 seconds a day

Six small fields. What you felt, how strongly, what was happening. The kind of thing you forget by Friday — written down before you do.

ii.

See the patterns you've been missing

Once a week, Lily turns your entries into plain-English insights. Not advice. Not diagnosis. Just what your data is showing.

iii.

Walk in with a one-page summary

Before your appointment, Lily generates a clinical-style summary your GP can read in 60 seconds. Symptoms, patterns, what you've tried, what you'd like to discuss. Print it. Email it. Hand it over.

03 The summary that changes everything

One page. Sixty seconds. A different conversation.

This is what Lily generates when you log a few weeks of symptoms — the document that turns ten minutes of confusion into a real consultation.

It's not medical advice. It's your information, organised so a busy clinician can act on it.

04 Our principles

What Lily is, and what it isn't.

Built with restraint. Built with respect. Built for women who deserve a tool that knows the difference between organising data and giving advice.

Navigation, not medicine

Lily helps you organise your information so you can have better conversations with clinicians. Lily never diagnoses, never recommends treatments, and never tells you what's "normal."

Your data, your control

Symptom logs are yours. We don't sell, share, or train AI models on your personal data. Anonymised entries are processed only to generate the summaries you ask for.

One job, done well

Other menopause apps try to be your tracker, your community, your wellness coach, your supplement seller. Lily does one thing — turn your data into a GP-ready summary. We do it cleanly. Nothing else clutters the experience.

Built without venture pressure

Lily is a small, founder-funded UK product. No investors. No supplements to sell you. No premium tiers cluttering the experience. We grow only as fast as our users tell us we should.

05 Safety first
When to stop using Lily and contact a clinician.
Lily is not medical advice.

Lily organises the information you provide. It is not a diagnostic tool, treatment guide, or replacement for clinical care.

For urgent symptoms — stop, and call.

If you experience bleeding after menopause, unexplained weight loss, chest pain, or any symptom that worries you acutely — close the app and contact your GP, NHS 111, or 999 immediately.

Specialist support.

For diagnosis or treatment decisions, speak to your GP or a menopause specialist. The British Menopause Society maintains a directory of accredited UK clinicians.

The waitlist

Two ways in. Both refundable.

Lily is built small and slow, alongside a UK-based founder's day job, with a small group of women who want to shape it from the start.

Free signup means an email when Lily launches. Founding member means a £5 refundable deposit, first access, and a private group where your feedback shapes what gets built.

If fewer than thirty women place a deposit, Lily doesn't launch — and every deposit is refunded automatically. You're not buying anything yet. You're telling us to build it properly.

Founding member

Place a £5 refundable deposit

Refundable means refundable. If Lily doesn't launch, you get your money back automatically. If it does, your £5 is applied toward your first month.

I built Lily because I needed it. The first version was for me. The version we're building now is for the women who reached out and said "That's me!"
